Despite changing conditions and challenges beyond our control, the crew put together two fantastic SIN R1 GT4 cars as we returned to Sprint format with two, 50-minute races at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.
Both drivers earned two top-10 class results in the Grand Prix of Canadian Tire Motorsport Park at Castrol presents Victoria Day Speedfest weekend.
They nearly needed Harry’s Eagle Scout skills to create an underwater adaptation for the SIN R1 GT4s on Saturday to deal with both rain and fog (think The Spy Who Loved Me), but Sunday’s race was sunny and clear, once again.
Harry Gottsacker Racing finished P7 & P6, respectively, in the GTS Pro class, in the No 69 FRAM Autolite Spark Plugs Protein Water SIN R1 GT4. Mark Pavan finished eighth in the GTSA class in both races in the No 54 FRAM Autolite SIN R1 GT4.
After a quick stop at Watkins Glen International for a day of testing, the team heads to Lime Rock Park and back to Sprint-X racing over Memorial Day weekend.
