SIN CARS are excited to announce their new factory representative – the Australian major – Daytona Sports Cars, owned by Richard Bendell.

The first racing Sin is travelling to Australia to its new owner – Richard Bendell! Mr. Bendell is known as the MoTeC founding director and lifelong motorsport enthusiast. He has been racing cars and motorcycles since 1960, most of which he built and prepared himself. Richard’s passion and determination have seen the MoTeC brand grow from humble beginnings to a world leader in engine management technology, with a impressive customer list including Le Mans, NASCAR, FIA GT, Australian V8 Supercars, IndyCar, Dakar Rally, World Rally, Formula Ford and many more. Mr. Bendell has shown a long standing commitment and outstanding contribution to engineering excellence in Australian motorsport.

Daytona Sports Cars was formed in 2000 to design, manufacture and market the Daytona Coupe Replica using modern engineering techniques for both design and production and to utilize current O.E.M. components. They have produced fourteen cars, all of which were constructed and certified to the Australian Design Rules and all were road registered. The majority were or are used in competition as Targa Rally cars, track day cars or outright competition race cars. They have run their cars in six 12 hour races in Australia and Malaysia over the last five years and won the Victorian Sports Car Championship and finished second as well, together with winning two 1 hour major races.
Totally owning their premises in Victoria, Australia, Daytona Sports Cars now opened a new facility purposed for the new Sin Cars dealership.
We are looking forward to the start of our collaboration and future success with Sin Cars Australia which include participating in the GT4 Series the GT1 series and the C.A.M.S. state race series.
Sin Australia will also support subsequent sin owners with race preparation and technical assistance as part of establishing a factory supported race team.
